FCAW expertise defines this Welder contract with Aerotek in Langley, BC. Perform multi pass fillet welds on structural beams onsite.
Aerotek seeks Welders for a six month project in Langley, BC. The work centers on Flux Core and metal core welding, equipment setup, weld inspection, and drawing interpretation. Welders follow written or verbal instructions while working with moderate supervision in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform multi pass fillet welds on structural beams
- Set up, adjust, and shut down welding equipment
- Follow weld symbols on drawings and instructions
- Inspect completed welds against company and customer specifications
- Complete paperwork and maintain clean work areas
- Minimum three years of FCAW welding experience
- Ability to maintain CWB FCAW and MCAW certifications
- Strong English communication skills
- Absolute attention to detail
- Ability to work with moderate supervision
