As we continue expanding across the Mid-Atlantic region, we’re looking for skilled and dependable Pipe Layers to join our field teams and help deliver high-quality underground utility projects.
Job SummaryAs a Pipe Layer, you’ll be hands‑on in the field installing underground utilities to spec, working alongside equipment operators, labor crews, and site supervisors.
Duties & Responsibilities- Lay and align water, sewer, and storm drain pipes
- Confirm trench grades using lasers, grade rods, and levels
- Connect and seal joints using approved materials and methods
- Excavate and backfill trenches safely around existing utilities
- Assist Operators and Laborers during trench and pipe installation
- Perform general labor and site cleanup as required
- Follow instructions from Foreman / Superintendent and work as a team
- 2+ years of experience in underground utilities or civil site construction (required)
- Ability to read grades and understand slope requirements
- Comfortable working in trenches (15–20 ft depth) and outdoor conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to use hand tools, compactors, and trench safety equipment
- Physically able to lift, carry, dig, and perform manual labor tasks
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of construction safety practices
- English or Spanish – Spanish speaking strongly welcome

- Required to continuously use vision abilities, including close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
