Position Overview
The Graphic Production Detailer plays an important role in our graphic production process by preparing graphic files and artwork primarily for large format printing needs. This position requires advanced understanding of the print production process from file preparation to the finished product. It interprets creative concepts and aligns the input of the artwork to the final printed product.
They understand how individual contributions can impact the success of our business unit and the company overall. This role reports to the Associate Director of Graphic Production Detailing and contributes to our goal of delivering exceptional and transformative experiences.
Key Job Responsibilities Graphic Detailing- Create, prepare, and review complex graphic designs for printing, ensuring they meet technical specifications and production requirements.
- Set color profiles:
Ensure accurate color calibration, resolution, and layout adjustments based on client and production needs. - Perform pre-press tasks: file conversion, color separation, written content, and format adjustments.
- Engage and collaborate with project stakeholders for accuracy.
- Deliver high quality and maintain consistent print production files.
- Maintain and organize digital assets, ensuring version control and proper archiving.
- Contribute to project quality control from graphic design through the print process.
- Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures.
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- Perform additional duties: undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the department manager and/or supervisor.
- Follow all applicable OSHA and corporate safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment by keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat Pro.
- 1+ year of experience in graphic prepress or related fields for print production.
- Associate’s degree or higher and/or certificate related to Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the printing process and file preparation techniques.
- Experience in color management and typography.
- Multi‑tasking ability: competent in managing multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with various print materials and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Color management skills are a plus.

Work EnvironmentWork is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours, on‑call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Hargrove when working in an office environment or traveling to venues.

Hourly Pay Range: $24.98 - $32.48
The compensation offered for this role is determined based on the qualifications outlined in the job posting for the specified location. Final compensation is based on a number of factors including location, travel, relevant work experience, or particular skills and expertise. Some positions may be eligible for overtime, bonuses, or incentives.
