Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to join a growing aerospace and telecommunication company. This is onsite in Lanham, MD and a full-time position.
Essential Duties of the Lead Systems Engineer:- Owning technical direction from requirements definition through verification and validation
- Develop, maintain, and track technical budgets (mass, power, link, schedule).
- Lead the development of new mission concepts and system architectures.
- Translate high-level requirements into actionable subsystem and interface specifications
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines (RF, software, mechanical, electrical).
- Mentor junior systems engineers and contribute to team process improvement initiatives
- 7+ years of systems engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience as Lead of a Systems Engineering team.
- Requirements management tools: DOORS, Jama, or equivalent
- MBSE tools:
Cameo Systems Modeler or something similar - Experience with MATLAB / Simulink for analysis and trade studies
- $120,000 - $200,000 (based on experience)
