Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax engagements, develop staff, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is ideal for a CPA who brings strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and a process-driven mindset.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned tax clients

+ Lead client meetings and manage expectations effectively

+ Review federal, state, and local tax returns

+ Prepare and review tax planning strategies and projections

+ Handle tax notices, correspondence, and audits

+ Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff

+ Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins

+ Ensure quality control and timely delivery of all engagements

+ Monitor budgets, deadlines, and workflow

+ Drive process improvements and leverage technology solutions

** Qualifications*
* + CPA required (EA considered with strong leadership experience)

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

+ 5-7 years of progressive tax experience

+ Proven experience managing and developing tax professionals

+ Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

** Position Details:*
* + Pay Rate / Range:__105,000 - $125,000 annually
