Location & Schedule

Based in Lanham, MD, with proximity to major medical centers, educational institutions, and thriving communities. You may also have the flexibility to work in various locations across the U.S., gaining exposure to different school districts, clinics, and hospital settings. You’ll enjoy guaranteed weekly hours, typically 35 per week, with a consistent, reliable schedule that supports work-life balance. The assignment begins on February 16, 2026 and runs for a multi-week period tailored to patient needs, with opportunities to extend based on performance, service demand, and your professional goals.

Comprehensive support includes 24/7 assistance from travel coordinators and clinical supervisors to ensure smooth logistics and collaboration with on-site teams.

Role Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver therapy targeting articulation, language, fluency, voice, cognitive-communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
  • Document progress using standardized measures and adjust goals as clients demonstrate gains.
  • Provide family and caregiver training to reinforce therapy outside sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, physicians, OT/PT teams, and other speech-language pathologists across sites to coordinate care and optimize outcomes for diverse populations.
  • Engage in professional development through targeted continuing education and mentorship; exposure to a broad spectrum of clinical scenarios in pediatric and adult populations.
  • Assist with housing arrangements, travel coordination, and liaison support to minimize stress and enhance performance.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Licensed or eligible to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with demonstrated clinical expertise across pediatric and adult populations.
  • Experience delivering evidence-based interventions for articulation, language, fluency, voice, cognitive-communication, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with families, teachers, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams.
