We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a
Engineering Technician
for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in
Lanham; MD. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay is $26/hr to start!!
- 3 – month assignment with the potential for extension/conversion based on performance and budget.
- Monday – Friday
- Executes test plans for various technologies, including RF and radio communications, and provides feedback to customers on outcomes or issues.
- Makes recommendations for modifications to plans.
- Provides dedicated technical support and troubleshooting for radio equipment, taking proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
- Diagnoses hardware and software faults in two-way radios and executes necessary repairs.
- HS Diploma/ GED is required (A.S degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred)
- 1+ year of testing, QC, measurement, technical support, or related work experience.
- 1+ year of RF/Semiconductor / electronics experience is preferred
- Working Knowledge of Excel
