Shape the Next Chapter of Lending at Fed Choice
Fed Choice Federal Credit Union (Fed Choice) is seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) of Lending to help lead its continued growth and evolution. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), this executive provides strategic leadership across consumer and real estate lending, servicing, collections/recovery, and commercial lending, bringing these areas together to support growth, strong portfolio performance, and an Altogether Better experience for Fed Choice members.
Consumer lending has historically been a core part of Fed Choice's business, creating an opportunity for the next VP to identify new ways to drive growth through product strategy, pricing, underwriting, technology, delivery channels, and a thoughtful approach to risk. This leader will balance growth with strong portfolio performance while continuing to evolve the lending experience for members.
Beyond leading the lending function, Fed Choice is looking for a strategic leader who can look ahead, bring forward new ideas, and contribute beyond their immediate area of responsibility. The VP will collaborate across the organization, develop and empower the lending team, and play an influential role in strategic planning and ALCO as Fed Choice continues to grow and evolve.
What You’ll Bring
Fed Choice is seeking a VP-level lending leader with meaningful experience across both consumer and mortgage/real estate lending. The strongest candidates will also bring experience in commercial lending, collections, and loan servicing.
Beyond lending expertise, leadership style matters. Fed Choice has a collaborative, “all hands on deck” culture and values leaders who listen, build relationships, and bring people along. The right leader can challenge the organization to grow and improve while preserving the culture and member focus that have helped shape Fed Choice.
Key Experience Includes:
7+ years managing consumer, indirect, and real estate lending, including collections experience
3+ years of leadership experience
Strategic experience with lending growth, portfolio performance, pricing, risk, and product development
Experience leading and developing lending teams and managers
Knowledge of lending regulations, policies, and compliance requirements
Small business lending collaboration and commercial lending experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience preferred
NMLS registration required
