Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Manager, Fabrication, the Painter
- Finisher II is responsible for providing excellent, professional workmanship using multiple material finishes and methods to complete the desired appearance. This position reports to the Manager, Fabrication.

Job Responsibilities:
- Fabrication
- Produce quality finishes that include masking, spray painting, piece marking, and chemical finishing with diligence.
- Ensuring all material surfaces are prepared for coating; cleaned, taped, sanded, filled, puttied.
- Operating large format spray equipment.
- Operating small electric and manual hand tools.
- Color match and mix different mediums.
- Collaborate with other team members, cabinet makers, carpenters, production managers.
- Maintain and manage inventory supplies.
- Apply finishes such as lacquers, automotive paints and protective coatings to wood, metal, and plastics.
- Safety
- Follow all applicable OSHA and corporate safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a safe working environment by maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
Job Qualifications:
- 3+ years' painting and finishing experience
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of current paint and finishing methods
- Communicate verbally, through computers, apps, and relevant software
- Experience with automotive paints and lacquers a plus
- Experience in a collaborative team environment

Work Environment:
Fabrication Work is performed in a shop environment. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in a warehouse environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area. When in the Fabrication Department, work will be completed in a temperature-controlled environment with exposure to dirt, sand, dust, and chemicals.
The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
