Engineering Technician I

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Engineering Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Lanham; MD. Details of the position are as follows:

• Pay is $26/hr to start!!
• 3 – month assignment with the potential for extension/conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday
• Executes test plans for various technologies, including RF and radio communications, and provides feedback to customers on outcomes or issues.
• Makes recommendations for modifications to plans.
• Provides dedicated technical support and troubleshooting for radio equipment, taking proactive measures to prevent recurring issues.
• Diagnoses hardware and software faults in two-way radios and executes necessary repairs.

• HS Diploma/ GED is required (A.S degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred)
• 1+ year of testing, QC, measurement, technical support, or related work experience.
• 1+ year of RF/Semiconductor / electronics experience is preferred
• Working Knowledge of Excel
