Job Overview
US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) is looking for an experienced Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our acute care team in Lanham, MD. The selected candidate will work side‑by‑side with physicians to provide compassionate, high‑quality care in an acute, supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide daily care for approximately 148 hospitalist encounters.
- Work across the Hospitalist and Observation departments (positions will float between these units).
- Support Behavioral Health services, including 10 average daily encounters, care in a 16‑bed inpatient psychiatric unit, an 8‑bed residential substance abuse program, and walk‑in urgent care for non‑life‑threatening behavioral health issues.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in continuous education and clinical governance initiatives.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hospital Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP).
- Board certification or eligibility in the relevant specialty.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to evidence‑based practice and quality improvement.
Excellent compensation with an estimated employed W‑2 base pay range of $68 /hour to $76 /hour (new grads $60 /hour to $65 /hour), plus comprehensive USACS benefits and a 10% practice‑funded 401(k).
- APP Incentive Units: $33,000 after 2 years of employment and completion of the USACS APP Academy.
