Critical Care Technician-Operating Room-FT-D/E
Performs a variety of direct patient care activities within the Operating Room as directed by the Lead RN, Circulating/Scrub RN/CST. Assists the surgical team with tasks, procedures and/or tests within the sterile operating room environment.
Contributes to the provision of high quality, cost effective health care through direct care of patients and collaboration with other health team members.

reports abnormal observations to assigned RN/charge nurse. Utilizes aseptic technique on insertion of Foley catheters.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
- HS Diploma/equivalent
Required License/
Certifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant through Maryland Board of Nursing
- American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers BLS.
Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical Demands:
There is a reasonable expectation that employees in this position will be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.
Physical Demands - Heavy work. Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
