Meta Sales Specialist

Job Type: Regular.

Location:

Best Buy 1776 - Lanham, MD 20706. Pay: $23 per hour.

Schedule:

20 hours per week. Friday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 am – 7:00 pm. Additional holiday shifts in November and December.

Work closely with retail shoppers to recommend Meta products. Serve as the primary resource for customers seeking information about Meta’s products. Provide a sales experience that is interactive and informative. Train retail associates on new AI apps and tools; all necessary technology training is supplied by the team.

• Showcase Meta gadgets and demonstrate their benefits to customers.
• Build trust by understanding customer needs and confidently recommending appropriate products.
• Represent Meta and 2020 Companies professionally and positively.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to team success.
• Maintain clean, organized Meta displays and ensure promotions are visible.
• Collaborate with retail sales associates and leaders; share knowledge.
• Track customer interactions, feedback, and sales electronically; submit daily reports via mobile device.
• Work primary shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; adapt to store environments.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum six months experience in sales, electronics, retail, telecom, or marketing preferred.
• Interest in AV and VR products is a plus.
• Ability to engage, demonstrate, and close sales.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to exceeding customer expectations.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Availability to work weekends and up to three weekday shifts.
• Own a smartphone with iPhone 11 or Samsung S25 compatible operating system.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 20 lbs occasionally, with hand/eye coordination.
• Reliable transportation to attend scheduled shifts.
