Coordinator - Gift Shop

Position Objective

Working under the direction of a Supervisor, responsible for daily operations and oversight of the retail shop, including team member schedules, working the sales floor, preparing coffee drinks, and ringing up purchases. Serves as a lead to direct daily activities of staff, providing guidance as well as training and orientation.

• Responsible for working the sales floor, preparing drinks with detailed knowledge of products, restocking as necessary, and maintaining the cleanliness of the prep area and sales floor.
• Takes the lead in training team members, ensuring all policies and procedures are learned and consistently demonstrated.
• Assists with cleaning, displaying, and upkeep of merchandise in the gift shop.
• Assists with tagging merchandise to include reconciliation with shipments received and invoices.
• Assist with research and buying of new products.
• Assist with maintenance of POS/Inventory Management systems.
• Track sales of merchandise and order in a timely manner.

• High School Diploma
• One year of customer service experience
• Retail experience preferred

Employees in this position are not expected to be exposed to blood-borne pathogens.

Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform repetitive movements involving a POS register, as well as stooping, bending, and reaching to display and/or retrieve products.

$17.50—$22 USD
