Overview
The Maintenance Ambassador Supervisor fosters a sense of community by offering an unparalleled living experience for residents and providing excellence in customer service through: maintaining the physical appearance and upkeep of the community; servicing residents' day-to-day maintenance needs with respect to their apartment homes; providing corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance throughout the community; ensuring safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances;
performing plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and floor repairs; assisting with apartment turnover preparation; servicing community equipment and HVAC systems; and any other duties assigned.
- Manage the maintenance team to ensure the acceptable physical appearance of the community; service residents needs with respect to their apartment homes; provide corrective, preventative and emergency maintenance; ensure safe and satisfactory operation of apartment appliances; minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and floor repairs; assist with apartment turnover preparation; service community equipment and HVAC systems; and any other duties assigned.
- 5+ years maintenance experience with individual HVAC repair and preventative maintenance of individual or central plant equipment, appliance, plumbing, and electrical systems and repairs, fire safety equipment and repairs, supervision and preparation of apartment turnovers and flooring installations.
- Ability to oversee and perform all maintenance repairs and duties independently, professionally and in a timely manner.
- Previous supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to supervise maintenance personnel.
- Initiative and motivation to continue training to develop skills, preferred, (i.e. license and certifications).
- Exceptional organizational, time management, scheduling, and delegation skills; exceptional leadership/supervisory and personnel development skills. CFC - Type 2 may be required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, transportation to respond to emergency calls, and proof of motor vehicle insurance.
