DSP, Supported Living Services

Overview

Direct Support Professional (DSP) role providing daily support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a supported living setting.

• Support individuals in achieving personal goals with person‑centered focus.
• Teach independent living and daily skills such as grooming and personal care routines.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in social activities and frequent community outings.
• Assist with household tasks including cleaning, meal preparation, and food shopping.

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Effective communication skills with individuals receiving services.
• Experience in a residential setting serving people with intellectual/developmental disabilities or other special needs populations.
