ResponsibilitiesIf you’re someone who believes that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive family environment, this role was built for you. As a Therapeutic Foster Care Social Worker within our Therapeutic Foster Care program, you’ll provide comprehensive case management services to children, foster families, biological families, and adoptive families—ensuring each child receives the support, advocacy, and coordinated care needed for long‑term stability and success.
Your work will be relationship‑driven, community‑based, and essential to helping children and families achieve positive outcomes.
As a Therapeutic Foster Care Social Worker, you'll provide comprehensive case management and family‑centered services for children in therapeutic foster care. Day to day, you can expect to:
- Conduct assessments, complete social histories, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress through regular home visits, family meetings, and ongoing case management.
- Provide crisis intervention, emotional support, and education to children, therapeutic foster parents, biological families, and adoptive families while promoting healthy family relationships and placement stability.
- Coordinate treatment services, facilitate Family Treatment Team Meetings, collaborate with community providers, and advocate for clients by connecting families with needed resources and supports.
