As part of the Open Space development team, the Software Engineer will be a valuable contributor to a web-based full-stack Agile Development Team with responsibilities that include:

• Develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products.
• Develops unit-level tests that ensure work product is of high quality.
• Authors software documentation for both internal and customer use.
• Reviews peer contributions as part of code reviews.

• Software development in Java and experience with C/C++.
• Experience developing unit tests with tools such as Sonar Qube or other code coverage tools.
• General knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
• Basic understanding of web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Build pipeline automation and packaging using tools such as Bamboo.
• General cloud knowledge with AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with working in a SAFe Agile environment using Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence or other similar collaboration tools.

• Expert software development experience in Java, C, and C++.
• Expert knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
• Secure software development experience and implementation of best practices.
• Experience with Satellite Command and Control systems.
