Inventory Specialist Job Lanham area,Maryland USA,Warehouse

The Inventory Specialist is under the direction of the Inventory Manager, is responsible for managing the flow of the organization's inventory and supplies. The Inventory Specialist will be responsible but not limited to:

Receiving inventory, and maintaining accurate records of shipments and goods received
Reconciling inventory audits to maintain acceptable inventory levels
Tracking incoming and outgoing orders
Creating inventory reports and providing them to the purchasing and inventory control manager
Conducting physical inventory audits and spot audits
Inspect and verify deliveries to ensure quality and quantity align with purchase orders.
Developing and maintaining good working relationships with vendors
Coordinating transportation for shipments from one location to another.
Assist with payroll/accounting function as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Reliable transportation, maintain valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of Products as well as Google products, and other communications related software programs.
