Staff Accountant

Description

A growing and established company in the Lansdale, PA area is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its expanding accounting team. The Staff Accountant will support the day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SAP, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

+ Perform daily accounting and general ledger activities using SAP

+ Prepare account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

+ Prepare and post journal entries

+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes

+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

+ Review invoices, expenses, and account activity for accuracy

+ Assist with financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

+ 2+ years of accounting experience

+

Experience with SAP strongly preferred

+ Solid understanding of general accounting principles

+

Experience with general ledger accounting and account reconciliations

+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills

+ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
