Title:
Administrative Assistant, Director of Curriculum and Equity
Reports To:
Director of Curriculum and Professional Development
Takes Direction From:
Director of Curriculum and Professional Development
Schedule/Calendar: 7.5 hrs/day, 37.5 hrs/week, 261 days/year
Curriculum Responsibilities:
- Supports the implementation of district-wide curriculum development and programs
- Supports the management of district curricular documents
- Coordinates development and maintenance of district curriculum management system
- Facilitates coordination of curriculum in-service days, after school, and summer programs
Assessment Responsibilities:
- Supports the implementation and management of all aspects of district assessment program, including benchmark, diagnostic, curriculum-based, and final examinations
- Supports the coordination of district-wide assessment testing materials through the ordering, distribution, and collection of materials for processing
- Maintains organization of all district-wide assessments
Professional Development Responsibilities:
- Coordinates district-wide professional development programs in support of curriculum, instruction, and assessment
- Supports the facilitation of in-service day programs including rooms, schedules, arrangements, payments, communications, etc.
Budget Responsibilities:
- Maintains current account balances and records for budgets under the Director of Curriculum and Professional Development
- Creates requisitions for district-wide purchases made for Federal Programs (Title I, Title II, and Title III grants) as well as the curriculum and assessment budget lines
- Facilitates development of district-wide budgets for Federal Programs, curriculum and assessment budgets
Secretarial Responsibilities:
- Completes day-to-day secretarial duties including photocopying, scheduling, etc.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor
- Associate's Degree preferred
- High school diploma
- Experience preferred with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience preferred with budgeting and purchasing
- Requires software proficiency with the application that the District uses, specifically knowledge of Google and all associated functions: email, calendar, docs, sheets, and slides
- Communication skills, ability to interact and interface with students, parents and teachers

Details:
Sedentary involves sitting most of the time. The incumbent should be able to exert up to 10 lbs of force occasionally;

Very heavy in excess of 100 lbs as applicable.
