ESY Special education assistant positions are available to work in-person with students to provide functional and academic support to students under the direction of the special education teacher.

• NPSD Special Education Assistants = Current Hourly Rate
• Others = $24.46/hr.

ESY services are special education and related services that are provided to students with disabilities beyond the 180-day school year. In some cases, interruptions in the school schedule, such as summer break, may result in some students with disabilities regressing on specific skills and taking a much longer time to regain those skills than their peers without disabilities once school is back in session.

ESY services are provided during breaks in the educational schedule to prevent this.

• 5 week programs will be full day, 4 week program will be half day

• 5 Week Staff Hours - 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
• 4 Week Staff Hours - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• 5 Week Student Hours - 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
• 4 Week Student Hours - 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

• 5 Week Staff Hours - 7:30 am - 1:30 pm
• 4 Week Staff Hours - 7:30 am - 11:30 am
• 5 Week Student Hours - 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
• 4 Week Student Hours - 8:00 am - 11:00 am

Lunch (30 min) and two (2) 15 min. breaks will be scheduled within the hours outlined above if working full-time
