Assistant Director – Early Childhood Education

Location:

Lansdale, PAFull-Time | Monday–Friday Play & Learn in Lansdale is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Assistant Director to join our experienced leadership team. Key Responsibilities:

Support the Center Director in daily operations and staff supervision

Ensure appropriate classroom staffing in accordance with DHS ratios; step into classrooms as needed

Conduct tours and respond to parent inquiries

Assist with day-to-day problem-solving and emergency response

Communicate daily with families to build strong relationships

Step into Director responsibilities as needed during absences or emergenciese are open to candidates who hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and are Level B on the PA Career Pathways if they are currently enrolled in additional coursework or willing to work toward Level

C.Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Ideal candidates will have at least 30 ECE credits and Level C on the PA Keys Career Pathways Experience working with young children and supervising staff

Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills

Positive attitude and willingness to support wherever needed
