Child Care Assistant Teacher

• Assist with hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of children
• Maintain open communication with parents and share children's daily milestones
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
• Provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services according to Bright Horizons' policies, procedures, and guidance
• Work in person at an early education/preschool child care centre
• Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and safety requirements

• Must be 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must pass required state and company background checks
• Must meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements
• 2 years of experience working in child care, daycare, or preschool settings preferred
• CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field preferred
• Must comply with applicable immunization, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training requirements
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, or hold children weighing 10 to 40 pounds and occasionally more than 40 pounds
• Must demonstrate full range of motion to lift, reach, squat, climb, sit, and participate in activities
• Must respond immediately and appropriately to multiple or unexpected situations or emergencies
• Must maintain mental and physical alertness and appropriate energy level

Demonstrates expertise in early childhood education, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and effective communication with parents. Capable of providing hands-on care and curriculum delivery while maintaining a safe and engaging classroom environment.
