The Position

Meadowood is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our 59 bed Skilled Nursing Center, an integral part of our vibrant Life Plan Community. Responsibilities include:

• The DON ensures the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centered care.
• Maintains full regulatory compliance.
• Advances clinical excellence.
• Fosters a collaborative, accountable, and performance‑driven culture.
• Requires demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, clinical documentation tools, and general computer applications.
• Leverages data analytics, digital platforms, and emerging technologies — including AI‑enabled solutions — to enhance clinical decision‑making, streamline operations, and improve resident outcomes.
• Strong leadership skills in team development, communication, change management, and cultivating a positive, mission‑aligned culture.

Requirements:

• Current Pennsylvania RN license required.
• BSN preferred (advanced degree a plus).
• Minimum of three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare environment.
• Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements, MDS processes, quality assurance, and evidence‑based clinical practices.
• Collaborative, compassionate, and forward‑thinking — committed to excellence, regulatory readiness, and person‑centered care.
