The Position
Meadowood is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact within our 59 bed Skilled Nursing Center, an integral part of our vibrant Life Plan Community. Responsibilities include:
- The DON ensures the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centered care.
- Maintains full regulatory compliance.
- Advances clinical excellence.
- Fosters a collaborative, accountable, and performance‑driven culture.
- Requires demonstrated proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, clinical documentation tools, and general computer applications.
- Leverages data analytics, digital platforms, and emerging technologies — including AI‑enabled solutions — to enhance clinical decision‑making, streamline operations, and improve resident outcomes.
- Strong leadership skills in team development, communication, change management, and cultivating a positive, mission‑aligned culture.
Requirements:
- Current Pennsylvania RN license required.
- BSN preferred (advanced degree a plus).
- Minimum of three to five years of progressive nursing leadership experience in long‑term care, skilled nursing, or a related healthcare environment.
- Strong working knowledge of regulatory requirements, MDS processes, quality assurance, and evidence‑based clinical practices.
- Collaborative, compassionate, and forward‑thinking — committed to excellence, regulatory readiness, and person‑centered care.
