As an IT Specialist
, you will provide professional-level technical support for computer and data center operations, supporting server and non-desktop hardware, maintaining system security, and ensuring reliable performance across centralized computing environments.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot server and non-desktop hardware, software, and systems in a data center or centralized network environment
- Maintain access control
, data integrity
, and file system security - Monitor, track, and document system performance and utilization metrics
- Recommend hardware, software, and process improvements to increase efficiency
- Support IT and infrastructure projects as needed
- Strong computing experience with the ability to adapt quickly to change
- Hands-on experience with Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments
- Experience supporting Laboratory environments
- Experience in the Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Life science industries
- Prior supervisory or management experience is a plus
