Desktop Support Engineer

Requirements

• We need prior experience using ticketing systems and preparing clear technical support notes and documentation.
• We need broad familiarity with common operating systems, application software, smartphones, desktop and laptop computers, printers, scanners, and networks.
• We need strong customer service skills, along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• We prefer experience setting up and managing network infrastructure.
• We need the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and resolve issues quickly.
• We need strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• We need technical aptitude with PC hardware and related software.
• We need a solid understanding of TCP/IP and Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows 11, 10, and 8.
• We need proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 2016, 2019, and Office 365.
• We need strong typing skills.
• We need experience setting up users in Active Directory and Exchange Online.
• Experience with VMware, Citrix, SharePoint, and Office 365 is helpful, though not mandatory.
• Next Gen experience is a plus.
• Power Shell knowledge is a plus.
• We prefer 2 years of real-world network systems experience.

Responsibilities:

• We provide level 1 and level 2 IT support to end users by phone, email, and onsite.
• We troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and voice/data communication issues.
• We document, prioritize, log, and update service requests.
• We write concise and informative service tickets and follow up on them through resolution.
• We support PC and server issues, including network connectivity, printers, and scanners.
• We create new user accounts and email mailboxes.
• We set up user profiles in Windows and Outlook.
• We manage Office 365 environments, including Exchange and SharePoint.
• We deliver remote support through Connect Wise Automate and Control.
• We provide onsite support to clients when needed.
• We support users with client IT systems and operations.

Company:
