Pay: $20–$24 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Assembler responsible for preparing and assembling wood, foam, and other related materials. This position will interpret drawings and blueprints, perform basic mathematical calculations to determine product specifications, and operate machinery to cut, glue, and combine materials according to order requirements. The Assembler will inspect completed products for quality, follow all safety requirements, collaborate with other departments to resolve production issues, and monitor inventory levels to help prevent delays.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate saws, wire cutters, glue guns, and other machinery to complete production orders; ensure equipment is properly set up and maintained.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Inspect assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and product specifications.
• Select and prepare materials for fabrication.
• Monitor inventory and report low supply levels to prevent production delays.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other team members to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least three years of experience in construction, production, manufacturing, assembly, or a related field
• Experience operating relevant machinery and production equipment
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and calculations involving fractions
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Ability to identify problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions
• Ability to follow instructions and apply feedback effectively
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
• Ability to meet deadlines while consistently producing high-quality work
• Willingness to take direction, assist team members, and learn additional roles
• Flexibility to adapt to changing production and company needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in carpentry, fabrication, woodworking, or a related field
• Construction or trade-related certifications

Physical Requirements:

• Frequently lift, push, and pull 20–30 pounds
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Regularly stand, bend, squat, stoop, and reach for extended periods
