SAP Quality Data Specialist (SAP MM/QM)

We are seeking an experienced SAP Quality Data Specialist to support data and process management activities within SAP in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will focus on SAP Quality Management (QM) and Material Management (MM) support, including master data maintenance, BOM approvals, quality data management, and cross-functional coordination with Quality Assurance and material request teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SAP QM/MM experience who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and enjoys working cross-functionally across quality and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities- Build, test, maintain, and support Quality-related master data within SAP
- Support SAP data and process management activities related to Quality Assurance
- Serve as a communication liaison between QA teams and material requestors
- Support material management workflows and BOM approval processes
- Author, review, and revise SOPs related to SAP processes and quality data management
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity of SAP Quality Management master data
- Assist with change management activities as the team expands SAP functionality and processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support ongoing operational and quality initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Life Sciences, or related field preferred
- 1–2+ years of experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated manufacturing environments
- Experience directly related to Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Systems support
- Hands‑on experience with SAP Quality Management (QM) master data preferred
- Experience with SAP MM/QM modules strongly preferred
- Familiarity with material management and BOM approval workflows
- Experience supporting SAP Change Management processes is a plus
- Strong computer, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong documentation practices and ability to follow SOPs and compliance requirements
- Quick learner with a positive attitude and proactive mindset
- Current focus is on SAP data and process management support rather than large‑scale system implementations
- Potential for smaller SAP implementation initiatives in the future
- Team will be expanding responsibilities related to SAP Change Management Systems
Compensation: $35–40/hr
