Scientist - I (Assistant)
JSG has a client in Lansdale PA looking for a Scientist - I (Assistant). This is an exciting opportunity for passionate science enthusiasts eager to contribute to innovative laboratory research and process optimization. You'll be involved in hands-on downstream processing, process monitoring, and data analysis, supporting our mission to deliver life-changing solutions. Pay $32.14/hour
Required Skills:
B.S. in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or related science 0-3 years of work experience, including at least six months in a biologics laboratory setting Proficiency in laboratory techniques including pipetting, reagent preparation, and process setup
Experience with tangential flow filtration is a plus Strong skills in Excel, formulas, and spreadsheet linking Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience performing biologics purification steps Familiarity with GLP standards Ability to work flexible hours for laboratory setup and experiments Experience analyzing and reporting experimental data Preferred
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field Up to 3 years of laboratory experience, preferably in vaccine or biologics downstream processing Other Requirements:
Willingness to work flexible hours Ability to set up equipment for lab-scale experiments Strong documentation skills to maintain accurate records Johnson Service Group, Inc.
