Wes Carver Electric is seeking a skilled, customer-focused Electrician to join our team. This role plays a direct part in company profitability, operational efficiency, and delivering a best-in-class customer experience. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who takes pride in quality workmanship, communicates clearly with customers, and consistently meets performance standards.
Our technicians typically make between $75,000 and $110,000 per year.
The average salary for our technicians is around $90,000.
Our higher level technicians make over $110,000.
Key Responsibilities- Electrical & Technical Execution
- Install, maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing residential electrical systems (with occasional light commercial work)
- Respond to service calls, perform planned maintenance, inspections, and new installations
- Ensure all work complies with company standards and the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Verify all completed work to prevent errors and callbacks
- Customer Experience & Sales
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive demeanor on every job
- Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after work is performed
- Build trust and clearly explain recommended services and their necessity. Never recommend or sell unnecessary services or products!
- Present pricing using the Straight Forward Pricing Guide.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally
- Deliver invoices and collect payment upon job completion
- Standards & Professionalism
- Wear company-issued uniform and all times
- Protect customer property using floor savers, boot covers, and drop cloths
- Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicles
- Communication & Teamwork
- Communicate daily with the Manager or CSR regarding job status, scheduling, and issues
- Debrief with the office after each service call
- Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
- Contribute positively to company culture and teamwork
- Supervise and support other team members when required
- Operational & Performance Expectations
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals, conversion rates, and average ticket metrics
- Maintain accurate truck inventory and material organization
- Prioritize safety on the job and while driving
- Work efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

- Full‑time position
- Some nights, weekends, on‑call shifts, and overtime required

- Minimum of four years of relevant electrical experience
- Strong working knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
