About the OpportunityA well-established dental practice with an in-house laboratory is seeking an experienced Denture Technician to manage removable prosthetics from start to finish. This is a key role within a small in-house lab (currently one technician) supporting the practice’s clinical team and helping free up doctors to focus on patient care.
The ideal candidate has strong analog denture experience and is open to contributing ideas, improving organization, and potentially helping grow the in-house lab’s capabilities over time. Digital experience is a plus, but not required
—training and growth are possible for the right person.
- Fabricate full dentures, immediate dentures, and acrylic partials from start to finish.
- Perform chairside adjustments
, relines, and denture-related support as needed. - Handle stain and glaze for printed hybrid temporaries (All-on-X / conversion provisionals).
- Work with 3D-printed hybrid provisionals (printed in-house; technician handles finishing, staining, glazing).
- Maintain organization, case tracking, and workflow efficiency within the lab.
- Collaborate closely with doctors and clinical staff.
- Ensure consistent quality, turnaround time, and case accuracy.
- Strong analog removable denture experience (A–Z workflow).
- Experience with full dentures and acrylic partials.
- Comfortable working independently in a small in-house lab environment.
- Attention to detail, organization, and accountability.
- Experience with hybrid provisionals / All-on-X temporaries.
- Familiarity with digital dentistry
, such as:- Exocad / Exocam.
- Digital design of hybrid restorations.
- 3D printing workflows.
- Interest in learning or expanding into digital conversions and in-house hybrid production.
- Ability to contribute ideas to improve efficiency, quality, or revenue opportunities.
Compensation is flexible and experience-based
, depending on what the candidate brings to the table:
- Baseline range: ~$50,000/year (for a strong analog denture technician supporting the practice internally).
- Higher compensation available for candidates who:
- Improve organization and workflow.
- Expand in-house capabilities.
- Add digital design or hybrid conversion expertise.
- Six-figure potential for technicians who can:
- Digitally design hybrid conversions.
- Support All-on-X workflows in-house.
- Help grow and scale the lab’s production and revenue.
The practice is open to higher compensation and enhanced benefits packages for the right person.
