Accounting Manager, Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting
Adecco is recruiting for a Lead Accountant to join a well‐established and growing real estate investment and development company based in St. Clair Shores, MI

This position is ideal for someone ready to step into a leadership capacity—overseeing partnership‑level accounting, supporting staff accountants, and driving consistency across multiple real estate entities. You’ll work closely with company leadership and play an active role in process improvement, reporting, and mentoring within the accounting team.
What You’ll Do:- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting activities across multiple real estate partnerships
- Review monthly and annual financials, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with tax filings, audits, and various property‑level reporting projects
- Collaborate with leadership on process improvements and systems enhancements
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accountants
We’re looking for a motivated accounting professional with a strong mix of technical skill and business sense. You enjoy rolling up your sleeves, improving processes, and mentoring others while keeping a sharp eye on financial accuracy.
Qualifications:- Experience in real estate, property management, or multi‑entity accounting
- Exposure to affordable housing or compliance programs (helpful but not required)
- CPA or progress toward CPA
- Strong Excel and general ledger system experience
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
