Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist | Allegan, MI

Salary Range: $48,000 - $70,000 depending on experience

The Pivot Group Network is recruiting for Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists in Allegan, MI to support manufacturing‑focused companies.

• Process vendor invoices and expense reports for payment.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate customer invoices and manage accounts receivable.
• Monitor customer accounts for past‑due payments and initiate collection efforts.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs or electronic payments.
• Assist with month‑end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable.

• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and receivable, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for financial transactions.
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record‑keeping.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with the manufacturing industry's specific billing and payment cycles.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with freight audits and logistics‑related invoicing.
• Certification in Accounts Payable (e.g., CAPP) or Accounts Receivable (e.g., CARS).
