Part Time Accounting Intern

Hourly Rate: $17.00-$18.00

Part Time: 3 days a week

Location: Concord Hospitality Lansing hotel location (Dual AC/Hyatt University Area)

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, invoice processing, and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly financial reporting and audit preparation.
• Help monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Adhere to all company, brand, and government policies and procedures.
• Conduct oneself to reflect the high standards of professionalism within the organization.
• Maintain a project enthusiastic, optimistic, helpful attitude.
• Assist other leadership team members and/or managers when needed.
• Complete all required accounting functions for the property as advised by GM and Corporate.
• Other duties as requested by GM and/or Corporate Directors.

Qualifications:

• Current student or recent graduate in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles; experience with Excel required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Detail‑oriented, capable of carrying out a given task with all necessary details (Required).

Schedule: Part‑time, 3 days a week – flexible hours to accommodate class schedules.
