This role is crucial for driving financial accuracy and compliance, offering direct visibility into how capital decisions are made at the leadership level. The Senior Accountant will shape how the company operates through their SOX and GAAP expertise, moving beyond transactional tasks to provide meaningful input.

• Mission:
  Owns ensuring financial accuracy and compliance while influencing strategic capital decisions and operational processes.
• Tech Stack: SAP, GAAP, SOX, Excel, Power BI

• Own:
  Lead monthly and annual close activities, ensuring accuracy in all reconciliations and reporting deliverables.
• Partner:
  Collaborate directly with business leaders to validate capital decisions and influence spending tracking and approval processes.
• Build:
  Develop and refine dashboards and reporting tools to provide leadership with clear visibility into financial trends.
• Lead:
  Guide audit readiness efforts, preparing comprehensive documentation and disclosures for internal and external scrutiny.
• Design:
  Create and strengthen internal controls to proactively ensure compliance and minimize reactive measures.

• Background:
  Senior accounting professional with deep domain knowledge in US GAAP, including depreciation, capitalization, and impairment principles.
• Experience:
  
  Five or more years of progressive accounting experience gained in a SOX-controlled, audit-ready environment, with strong working knowledge of SAP.
• Skills:
  
  Advanced Excel proficiency, including pivot tables and data modeling; demonstrated expertise in US GAAP application; leadership in SOX compliance.
• Bonus: CPA or CPA-eligible; experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools; exposure to multiple ERP systems beyond SAP.
