Were looking for aFront Office/Administrative Associate who will serve as the first point of contact for clients, guests, and stakeholders. This in-person position is essential to creating a welcoming, polished, and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in front desk responsibilities, communicates clearly and professionally, and loves being part of a collaborative, fast-moving team.

What You'll Do

You'll be at the heart of our daily operations, greeting visitors, supporting staff, coordinating logistics, and keeping the front office running with a high level of excellence. This is the perfect role for someone who finds fulfillment in helping others, staying organized, and contributing to a positive office atmosphere.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Serve as the professional, friendly first point of contact for all visitors and callers.
  • Open and close the office daily following established procedures.
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy, organized, and welcoming.
  • Answer and direct incoming calls; monitor and route general company email.
  • Support meeting logistics including scheduling, room setup, refreshments, materials, and cleanup.
  • Coordinate appointments and calendar entries for staff.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including technology setup with our managed service provider.
  • Order and maintain office supplies.
  • Distribute mail and coordinate incoming/outgoing deliveries.
  • Provide administrative support such as printing, scanning, filing, and maintaining contact lists.
  • Support internal and external events, including setup, cleanup, and refreshments.
  • Assist the COO with general office operations and projects.

  • Is comfortable using new office tools, systems, and helping to troubleshoot basic technology needs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required;
    Associate degree preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in a front desk, receptionist, or administrative support role.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced office setting.
  • Interest in political or legislative processes is a plus (not required).
  • Ability to work onsite - this is anin-person front desk role and requires presence at the front desk throughout the day.
Travel &

Physical Requirements
  • Occasional travel by car will be required for meetings and events.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. for event setup and office support.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment.
  • Must be able to hear and speak clearly to conduct business over phone, video, and in person.
