- Role 1: Reporting to Alma or Lansing, MI (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week)
- Role 2: Reporting to Lansing or Jackson, MI (Fully Onsite – 5 days/week)
The Administrative Assistant I provides essential administrative and scheduling support to the Scheduling Team. This department handles high-volume coordination activities, and the role helps streamline tasks that impact team productivity. The position is heavily focused on resource planning support and managing various administrative functions across multiple locations.
This is an entry-level role ideal for candidates looking to start their administrative career while gaining exposure to scheduling operations, SAP, and resource management functions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide daily administrative support to the Scheduling Team to reduce workload bottlenecks.
- Book and coordinate conference rooms across multiple locations statewide.
- Perform corporate credit card reconciliation and maintain accurate documentation.
- Support facilities and workspace operations, including filling in during staff absences.
- Assist with resource planning tasks and internal coordination.
- Maintain organized files, logs, and tracking sheets to support team productivity.
- Prepare basic reports, spreadsheets, schedules, and communications as needed.
- Provide general customer service and support to internal employees.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned by leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
0–1 year of work experience (entry level)
Experience Preferred- Some experience in an administrative or clerical role
- SAP experience (asset, not mandatory)
- Background in customer service
- Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Preferred:
Some college coursework
- Proficiency in MS Excel (sorting, filtering, data entry, basic formulas)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Ability to stay focused and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- May require lifting or carrying items (approx. 5–35 lbs)
- Occasional travel may be required
