Administrative Assistant

Location: Lansing, MI

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Compensation: $45,000–$58,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications

Status: Full-Time

Personnel World is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support administrative and office operations within a fast-paced professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a stable and collaborative office setting. Candidates with experience in legal, administrative, professional services, executive support, or high-level office environments are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with strong professional office experience and transferable skills will also be considered.

The ideal candidate is polished, detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident managing multiple priorities while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, process, and maintain administrative and client-related documents
  • Complete and track forms, reports, filings, and supporting documentation
  • Answer and manage incoming office communications professionally
  • Coordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling logistics
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems
  • Assist with correspondence, research, and administrative projects
  • Support day-to-day office and operational functions
  • Communicate professionally with clients and external contacts
  • Track deadlines and ensure timely follow-through on assignments
  • Qualifications
  • Previous experience in an administrative, legal, executive support, or professional office environment. Legislation experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities
  • Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school.
