Administrative Assistant
Location: Lansing, MI
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $45,000–$58,000+ annually, based on experience and qualifications
Status: Full-Time
Personnel World is seeking a professional and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support administrative and office operations within a fast-paced professional environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their career within a stable and collaborative office setting. Candidates with experience in legal, administrative, professional services, executive support, or high-level office environments are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates with strong professional office experience and transferable skills will also be considered.
The ideal candidate is polished, detail-oriented, adaptable, and confident managing multiple priorities while handling sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities Prepare, process, and maintain administrative and client-related documentsComplete and track forms, reports, filings, and supporting documentationAnswer and manage incoming office communications professionallyCoordinate calendars, meetings, and scheduling logisticsMaintain organized electronic and physical filing systemsAssist with correspondence, research, and administrative projectsSupport day-to-day office and operational functionsCommunicate professionally with clients and external contactsTrack deadlines and ensure timely follow-through on assignmentsQualifications
Previous experience in an administrative, legal, executive support, or professional office environment. Legislation experience is preferred.Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced settingProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelProfessional demeanor with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to learn quickly and adapt to changing prioritiesGraduation from a standard high school or vocational school.
