This is a non‑career appointment limited to 129 hours per month.
Our team is seeking a Student Assistant for the Bureau of Field Services Team. The role supports the Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TSMO) – Fleet Services unit with administrative and operations tasks such as office management, coordination, file and database maintenance, customer service, mail processing, and confidentiality of documents.
The salary range reflects the minimum to maximum rate of the Student Assistant position.
Qualifications- Current enrollment in high school, vocational or technical school, or post‑secondary educational institution, with at least 6 credit hours per semester/term and continuous enrollment.
- No specific experience required.
- Submit proof of enrollment, including unofficial transcripts, an acceptance letter, a current semester schedule, or a receipt of tuition payment showing a $0.00 balance. Failure to provide proof may result in screening out of the process.
- Attach a detailed résumé and cover letter.
- All newly hired state employees must pass a pre‑employment drug test and physical (if applicable) before appointment. Criminal and driving records will also be checked. Any position offer will be conditional until results indicate eligibility.
