Position Overview
Administrative Assistant – A role that supports the operations of a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. The position focuses on vendor bill management, payroll processing, filing, documentation, and communication with staffing agencies and vendors.
Responsibilities- Accurately enter, track, and manage vendor bills while ensuring timely payments by adhering to terms and coordinating with vendors for required documentation.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with staffing agencies, keeping them informed of open positions and requirements.
- Diligently maintain a comprehensive record of temporary staff, including positions and hourly wages.
- Handle temporary staff payroll, ensuring accuracy and punctuality.
- Perform basic filing duties, organizing and maintaining a well‑structured document management system.
- Type and prepare quotes for various purposes with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Analyze and manage monthly credit card statements to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiently for daily administrative tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of manufacturing or administrative work experience.
- Previous experience in an administrative role – preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Superior attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems.
- Eagerness to take on challenges and grow in the role.
Hourly pay: $15.00–$18.00 (based on experience).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday. Shift: 1st shift 6:30 am–5:00 pm.
- Requires sitting or standing, reaching, bending, and moving around the facility.
- Regular lifting up to 40 lbs.
