Luxury Service Advisor

Position Overview

Luxury Cadillac Service Advisor – responsible for scheduling and delivering exceptional service to premium clients.

• Coordinate and schedule service appointments, providing concierge service for luxury clientele.
• Greet customers warmly, accurately assess vehicle issues, and articulate service recommendations.
• Provide detailed and accurate estimates for labor and parts, ensuring transparency.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction standards by keeping customers informed, obtaining authorizations, and delivering quality service.
• Maintain a professional appearance, keep work area clean, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the service environment.
• Handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
• Maintain a customer call-back sheet for follow-up ten days out.
• Check progress of repair throughout the day, contact customers about changes in estimate or promised time, and obtain proper authorization before additional repairs.
• Review repair orders to ensure work is completed, note additional work and authorization, and close repair orders as appropriate.
• Explain completed work and all charges to customers.
• Establish promised times, check with dispatcher if necessary, and obtain customer signatures on repair orders.

• Schedule service appointments and obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Display timely, friendly greetings and gather vehicle information.
• Accurately document customer's vehicle problems on repair orders.
• Review service history, inspect vehicle, and recommend additional needed service.
• Advise customers on care of their cars and the value of maintaining vehicles per manufacturer specifications.
• Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Establish “promised time,” confirm with dispatcher if required.
• Obtain customer’s signature on repair order and provide a copy.
• Establish customer’s method of payment; obtain credit approval if necessary.
• Maintain a professional, organized work environment and keep records for follow-up.

• Test drive vehicle with customer as needed and refer to test technician if necessary.
• Notify dispatcher of incoming work.
• Implement and maintain a service marketing program.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in assigned areas, locked, and keys are marked and stored correctly.
• Inspect all vehicles for body work, inform customers of required work, and provide estimates for body repairs.

• Passion for luxury automobiles and genuine love for the craftsmanship and prestige of Cadillac vehicles.
• Exceptional communication skills with ability to engage and educate customers on premium vehicle maintenance.
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, family‑oriented environment.
• Two to four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license; manufacturer training preferred.
• Strong mathematical ability, including calculating discounts, commissions, and percentages.
• Reasoning and problem‑solving skills to handle practical issues with limited standardization.
• Capacity to read, analyze, and interpret business, technical, or regulatory materials and to present information clearly.
