Automotive Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

Position:
Maintenance Technician – Firestone Complete Auto Care (entry level). This role is a key member of an automotive service team, responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles with a focus on safety and quality. Pay range: $13.86 – $20.79 per hour. Full‑time and part‑time benefits available from day one, including tool program discounts.

• Learn how to diagnose and repair basic automotive systems, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, exhaust, and electrical.
• Perform oil changes and other scheduled maintenance services.
• Install and maintain tires.
• Install batteries and shock absorbers, and check electrical systems.
• Conduct road tests on vehicles to verify performance and safety.

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• Experience in the automotive service industry preferred.
• Reading, writing, and math skills.
