Position SummaryCombining in‑depth automotive repair knowledge with exceptional people skills, you will manage customer relationships, act as a liaison between technicians and customers, lead, coach, train and supervise vehicle technicians, and help with parts, materials and equipment purchasing.
Pay Range: $22.66 – $33.99

Responsibilities- Assign and schedule work duties to auto service staff according to individual skill level.
- Serve all automotive service needs of customers.
- Oversee the hiring and training of an effective auto service team.
- Ensure high teammate retention.
- Maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction and retention by proactively managing all aspects of customer interactions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of business operations in the automotive service environment and use it to improve efficiency and store operations.
- Drive sales through proactive customer interactions, thorough vehicle inspections, and facilitation of communication between store back and front operations.
- Provide valuable insights to front‑of‑shop staff to facilitate product and service sales, optimizing revenue generation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 4 years of auto service technical experience.
- 1 year of service manager or service writer experience.
- Problem‑solving skills related to customer complaints.
- Aptitude to manage inventory, scheduling and equipment maintenance.
- Capacity to lead and coach others.
- Strong teammate and customer communication skills.
- Ability to recruit and select technicians successfully according to store requirements.
- Willingness to continue education and stay current in automotive repair issues.
- Valid automotive driver’s license at all times to test drive customers’ vehicles.
- 2‑year degree or equivalent.
