Acrisure is seeking a Claims Consultant to join our growing team. This role acts as a strategic partner and risk advisor for all clients and service teams through a high level of service and analysis of claims data that helps shape client policies and procedures to improve overall risk management.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with the Management Team, providing assistance as needed
- Attend and assist in facilitating department meetings
- Maintain awareness of new developments or changes within the department updating training materials and team resources
- Maintain and take appropriate action on eligibility reports
- Maintain and update data for billing purposes as needed
- Assist in weekly reporting and other various projects
- Assist in managing and updating activities when needed
- Resolve or refer all requests from the Pharmacy Service Representatives
- Perform other tasks or projects as needed/assigned
- Attend and complete training sessions or assignments as required
- Work directly with the Pharmacy Benefits Manager
- Adhere to Acrisure service standards for the department and agency
- Willingness to participate in self‑development or technical classes
- Strong organizational and workflow management skills
- Must be comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, courteous telephone skills
- Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self‑motivated
- Team player and task‑oriented
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years’ claims processing/analysis/advisement experience in pharmaceuticals preferred
