NOTE:
Local candidates strongly preferred. Non‑local candidates must relocate to Michigan at their own expense and follow the hybrid schedule (on‑site Wednesday & Thursday).
Business Analyst role providing excellent customer service supporting project and work request needs for several Agencies.
Responsibilities- Act as liaison between project stakeholders and facilitate and elicit requirements, perform process modeling to develop strategy and requirements for enhancements and related projects.
- Participate as a critical member of the Agency Services Business Analyst team, contributing to operational activities for related work requests.
- Champion agency compliance with policies and practices, quickly gain a working understanding of applicable constraints and enablers to guide the client to project success.
Skills and Abilities
- Self‑directed, well organized, confident in building relationships, quick to learn new assignments, flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
- Strong facilitation experience for requirements elicitation; experience with gap‑fit analysis and program performance analytics.
- Efficient in helping EGLE navigate constraints and enablers for successful projects and work requests.
- 7+ years Business Analyst experience conducting business process review, requirements elicitation and documentation, including process modeling.
- 2+ years working on projects developing/implementing IT solutions for public use.
- 2+ years supporting development or compliance of statements of work and/or other work agreements/contracts.
- 5+ years developing and/or managing user stories on Agile development project(s).
- 2+ years working directly with senior management to facilitate discussions for strategy, road‑mapping, consensus building.
- 1 year experience working with programs governed by state and/or federal regulations.
First round is virtual. Second round requires on‑site presence.
