Process Improvement Analyst
The Process Improvement Analyst is responsible for analyzing potential improvements to logistics operations and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy, and overall performance. This role partners with internal and external partners to identify opportunities for automation, streamline workflows, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Research, design, and recommend process improvements to enhance logistics operations, automation, and system enhancements.
- Support the execution and monitoring of future and present process improvement projects.
- Stay current on industry trends, technology, and best practices by attending trade shows, conferences, and professional development events.
- Establish department processes and procedures, metrics, and plans.
- Provide direction, guidance, and support during the planning and launch of new initiatives.
- Advise management on new developments, impact of recommended changes, and provide ROI calculations for new projects and capital purchases.
- Read, analyze, and implement requirements outlined in contracts, specifications, and operational guidelines to ensure accuracy and alignment with customer expectations.
- Assist with oversight and guidance of team members as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or another related field.
- 2–3 years of experience with process improvement or related experience, or a combination of experience and education.
- Knowledge and experience of ISO 9001 requirements.
- Must be able to pass and maintain Federal and State background checks.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret logistics and supply chain data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and drive process improvements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word (nice to have).
