Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in construction management practices, including field coordination and quality control.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in K-12 or institutional construction environments.

+ Experience in commercial HVAC and mechanical installation oversight.

+ Familiarity with construction logistics planning for equipment deliveries and material staging.

Job Description

The Assistant Superintendent supports the Project Superintendent in managing day-to-day field operations for a K-12 construction project, with a strong focus on HVAC and mechanical scopes. You will coordinate field activities, oversee installation quality, and help maintain project safety, schedule, and quality standards. This field-based role works closely with subcontractors, trades, and design teams to ensure all work complies with contract documents and project requirements.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Lansing, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.
