Supervisor, Commercial Sales Support

Michigan Farm Bureau seeks a Supervisor, Commercial Sales Support to lead a member-focused team serving agricultural and rural commercial clients. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day operations for commercial sales support, including processing quotes, proposals, and policy changes; ensuring accurate documentation; and coordinating closely with agents, underwriters, and member service teams. You'll coach and develop staff, optimize workflows, monitor key service metrics, and help refine processes that strengthen our support of Michigan's farmers and rural businesses in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the commercial sales support team serving agricultural and rural clients
• Oversee processing of quotes, proposals, and policy changes for commercial accounts
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and data entry in CRM and related systems
• Collaborate with agents, underwriters, and member-services teams to resolve complex service issues
• Monitor workloads, set priorities, and balance assignments to meet service standards
• Develop and refine procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
• Support training, coaching, and performance feedback for team members
• Track and report key service and productivity metrics to leadership
• Assist with compliance, documentation, and audit readiness for commercial business
• Contribute to member-focused initiatives and cross-functional projects supporting Michigan agriculture
