• Source, evaluate andprocureheavy truck and equipment parts,components and materials
• Assist mechanics inidentifyingand ordering the correct parts to supporttimelyrepairs and maintenance
• Maintainaccurateinventory records and inventory management systems
• Conduct cycle counts and monitor inventory levels to ensure parts availability
• Organize andmaintaina clean,efficient and well-labeled parts department
• Verify receipts against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
• Investigate supplier issues,backorders and alternative sourcing options
• Process warranty claims, corereturnsand partsreturnswithin required timelines
• Utilize technical manuals, digitaltoolsand product documentation toidentifyreplacement parts
• Analyze inventory trends, supplierperformanceand return data to recommend cost-saving improvements
• Serve as a resource for inventory questions,looking up partsand shop communication
• Respond professionally to maintenance-related inquiries
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and reduce downtime
• Provide training,coachingor mentoring related to parts and inventory processes as needed

• Minimum 4 years of experience with heavy truck parts or parts room operations required
• Experience using procurement software and inventory management systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification required
• Overhead crane certification or ability to obtain certification required
• Fleet maintenance or heavy equipment industry experience preferred
